Tradestech debt collection

Hi, Im asking for advice for my son. He signed up for an electricians course with this company but then realised it was worthless so cancelled. (Or so he thought) He is now receiving debt collection letters at my address for nearly £2k! Hes never even done the course. Can we do anything about it? Many thanks.
