Hello.
My partner had a car with Audi which she had on finance with them for 3 and half years but terminated the contract. In the contract that she signed it stated/clarified that if the contract was to be terminated that any excess mileage charges wouldn't apply as long as she payed at least half of the money owed. Well that wasn't the case as after she terminated the contract and went with another car company Audi/VWFS started contacted demanding payments for that excess mileage.
She went through the ombudsmen for an investigation and after awhile received an email from the ombudsmen stating that VWFS has agreed to waive the excess mileage charge (Which she did not owe regardless as the contract even stated that she wouldn't need to pay excess charges if the contract was terminated). She received this email from the Ombusdmen on the 22/06/2020 and since then she's still had 3 letters from Audi and 3 more from VWFS and each time we've contacted them we get told "Oh there must be an issue with the system" or some excuse along those lines but today she received a letter from Themis recoveries still claiming that she needs to pay the excess mileage charge even after VWFS waived the charged.
What can we do about this? Seeking advice or anybody with similar experiences in regards to this.
Thank you for your time
