  • Notice of Enforcement 7 Days?

Hi. Unfortunately I have had my car taken by bailiffs. I do not dispute the debt, I take full responsibility and my intention is to clear debt somehow.
The debt is for £2003. My car at approx market value is worth £6500-7000, thats realistic value, not sentimental. Think it obvious why I'm trying to find a way to save it?
My question is, I received Notice of Enforcement on 24th September and the Bailiff returned to take car on 1st October. That is only 6 business days. Is it correct they must wait 7 UK working days, Saturday isn't recognised as a working day?
    Thanks in advance.

When working the 7 clear days out then Saturday is included. I assume you still have the NoE - what date is on it, what date did they give you to comply, what postage rate did they use, when did you receive it? They can sell the vehicle after another 7 days but must give you the date & place of auction.

Which Bailiff Co are you dealing with? Can you give us a background as to how it got to this point? Where did they actually remove the vehicle from? Was it immobilised (clamped) first?
