I'm being chased for money from a large UK security company for orders I didn't collect. I have proof of the signatures which do not match ours and have asked for CCTV of us signing at the time and date, but no proof supplied.
Conveniently, the person who was supposed to credit our account back left the company a couple of weeks after this order and the credit was never made. Now it looks like we owe them over £2000.
Unfortunately, there is no written proof of this conversation about these orders or credit and now the lady has left there is no one to confirm this.
What can I do? they are now staring legal proceedings.
