  • Horizon car park bletchley mk2 2es

My step father has received a parking ticket from Horizon when he parked in a disabled bay for 43 minutes, he was under the assumption that it was free to disabled drivers as he has parked here before. I believe they are in breach of unfair trading regulations due to different misleading websites. If you look at Parkopedia before you click on their website you see it shows 2 hours free and this was showing once clicked on their website when we went onto this two days ago 13/9/20 now if you go onto Horizons website they are advertising:-

    Brunel Shopping Centre MK2 2ES - 2 hours £3.50
    Sainsbury MK2 2ES - 2 hours 50p

So which one is it! I have read their reviews and this company seems to like to change their signs on a regular basis trying to catch people out in order to retrieve sums of money, older and disabled people seem to be their main target.

Surely this company should be looked at by the advertising standards agency.

Please could you let me know where he stands with this as he only has until the 21st September to appeal.

    Thank you

In private car parks it is not normally free for BB holders, the information pack with the blue badge tells you that.

Was this a windscreen ticket or a Notice to Keeper in the post?

So post up the redacted PCN but leave dates

Photo of the signs would help. The signs take precedence.
