Hi,
I went abroad and on the statement there are extra charges, because when I purchased items in foreign currency they add extra charges, is this OK, I am using Master personal Credit card.

Yes, on many cards there are additional charges for use abroad. The terms and conditions leaflet should tell you about these charges

If you are going to do this regularly then get a prepaid card in the currency. I have a euro card that I load before holidays, usually at a good rate, and then use abroad without additional cost
