hello, i got caught shoplifting at a local drugstore because my family doesnt have a lot of money. the staff approached me and told me that me and my friend should return some of the items tomorrow but im scared that theyll call the police and arrest us (we took 175£ in total). im scared that my parents will find out or that ill get a criminal record. im well aware that shoplifting is bad and this is definitely going to be the last time i try doing anything similar to it. if i dont show up tomorrow or ever at a store, could they make an arrest or stop me while im on a walk or something? thanks in advance

If they got all the stuff back and didn't call the police at the time then the police aren't interested and will not be calling round or stop you. For a start the police do not know what you look like.
What you may get is a letter demanding a 3 figure some as compensation for their loss. There has been no loss, they got everything back, so just ignore the letter but file it away.
