  • VT - charges for towing it

I was extremely ill over Christmas and hospitalised for 2 weeksweeks. This has left me unable to go work as I work in a prison. I had sepsis, pneumonia and a collapsed lung, it is the sepsis which has caused all the problems. As I am foing onto half pay I cannot pay all my commitments, CAB suggested DRO. The finance company have requested that I pay 150.00 to get it towed away. Does not sat in their documents, but in the script when you call them. And a default notice is already on my credit file. My insurance runs out 5/9, stating that I need to keep it insured until collected.

    Hello
I'm not sure why the title of your thread refers to VT but CAB are suggesting a DRO and you are saying that you received a default on your credit file.

Have you told us the full story here? Did you actually VT because you shouldn't have received a default if you did.

Who is the finance company and why are they trying to charge you £150 for towing it away? Why can't they simply come to collect it and drive it away?
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
