Wrong registration on pcn

Hi,

I recently received a PCN from Nottingham City Council for parking in no parking zone Mon-Fri 1-2pm (on a Bank Holiday Monday so I thought I was exempt anyway).

However, when I’ve gone to pay, I’ve noticed the registration number is wrong on the issued PCN.

I’ve seen lots of threads on here/the internet and honestly my head is fried.

Do I have to pay? Shall I appeal?

Wrong reg is fatal. How exactly is it wrong? (eg 123 ABC instead of 123 ABD) )
