So have you got a copy of the invoice and do you recognise the details? If you haven't got a copy then ask for one

I have had no invoice. I am guessing this follows on from something I clicked on possibly on Facebook in August last year which I thought was a reminder that the PPI deadline ( I did not see any mention of the name of a CMC) was due and I entered a Santander account I had for enquiry. I received no communication from any CMC at that time. Then in early March and April I received a spam email from Ingenious Legal saying I was due a settlement from Santander which I thought was just spam and forgot about because I did not recognise the name. I did receive a settlement from Santander which I thought followed on from my enquiry the previous August. I thought no more about it until yesterday when I received two spam emails from CRS debt collectors saying I had not paid an invoice for payment of £1,333 to Ingenious Legal for my PPI claim. I have received no communication from this company apart from the two mentioned, I have signed no contract with them, had no forms or any information from them and definitely no invoice. I think I have been stupid in clicking on something on Fb but I provided no information to this company apart from the fact that I had an acct with Santander, I will phone Ingenious Legal tomorrow and expect to pay them but I just wanted some idea if I had any rights before I phoned. Sorry this is so long winded and thanks.
