HI,
I booked myself in for a fat freezing treatment a few months ago. I went for my consultation and treatment all in one appointment, but when I got to the appointment it turned out I couldn't have it done as I don't have enough fat in the area for the applicator to get a good grip.
they offered me an alternative treatment however that treatment is totally different and has different side effects which I am not happy to proceed with.
I put in a refund request to the Head office and it was declined with them stating that they have a no refunds policy. They said i could have a 50% refund or a gift card to offer the treatment to a friend.
I disputed this and said that as I haven't received the treatment I booked, contented and paid for i should be entitled to a fu refund and that I wasn't comfortable having the alternative treatment done. The advisor told me if I wasn't happy I could "get a lawyer "
What is the next step from here please? I feel like they are trying to use an unenforceable term with the "non refundable" clause even when it was their beautician who said i wasnt suitable for the fat freezing.
please advise as I would just like to get my hard earned money back at this point.
thank you so much!
