  • Moving warehouse

I have worked for a company for 34 years and my commute is 1.6 miles or 5 minutes each way from home. They now want to move me to another site 22 miles or 40 minutes each way which is a significant amount of time and money. They will not give me any fuel money but will put on a "shuttle" to and from the new site, but we all finish at different times and I would rather have my vehicle with me so I don't have to wait around in the evening, I believe in this situation I should be offered redundancy but apparently there is no money as the move is all about saving money, also I should be making sacrifices to keep the job apparently. This will cost me approximately £240 a month extra and nearly 900 miles I feel as if I am being forced to move and in effect take a pay cut. Not sure what to do next any ideas? Thanks
