Possible con?

Just bought a brand new Volkswagen. With the car came a data plug in so you can see how the cars performing using your phone. When the data plug installed it showed the car had done 2400 miles. Is it a fault with the plug or have the garage used the car and clocked the mileage?

Pop into another VW garage and get a readout (PRINTED) it will show the genuine mileage, it is just a case of plugging into the brain.
