  • Speeding Fine

I have received a speeding fine from the police but it was sent to my old address. I moved a year ago and I informed the DVLA that I had moved two weeks after the move, as stated on my driver's licence. Can I refuse to pay because the notice was not delivered to the registered keeper within the 14 day period required?

    Many thanks.

Was the car still registered at old address or new one ?the fine would be sent to the address on the V5 if the offence was caught on camera

You may have changed your licence, did you change the details on the V5 registration document?
