  • Hello 👋 Looking for some help with a VT (slightly outside the normal circumstances)

    Hi everyone,

I'm about to VT my car with Alphera Finance and I'm sorta ok with the process in general. The difference here is that whilst the car is in great condition, a few months ago some muppet keyed all the cars in my street.

Now I am not stupid enough to think I won't need to pay for this. My question is two-part

    1. Who is going to fleece me more for the repairs, Alphera or a dealership?
    2. How do I address this in my template letter to Alphera. My initial thought is that I just don't address it.

Thanks for any pointers that may come my way.

    Mick

Personally I would wait for the letter.

Sorry Archie I'm unclear what you mean here. Do you mean not make any reference to the scratch in my original letter to them?
