  • Voluntary Termination Excess Mikeage

I VT'd my BMW in 2019 and didnt sign a documeny, BMW sent me a final bill for the excess mileage which i refused to sign. I advised them of my rights and why i wasnt willing to pay and they threatened me with legal action amd passed the debt to a vollection agency. I advise i was taking my case to the ombudsman however they started to flag the missed payments on my credit file.

I then paid the full balance as i couldbt afford to have a negative impact on my credit file which it has.

Now im still waiting for the ombudsman to review and reply however I wanted to know if i have a legal right to ask them to remove the markers and if so how do i go about doing it? I have now been refused a mortgage amd if i dont get this sorted im stuck as it sits on my credit fike for 6 years.

Does anyone know of any solicitors who specialise in this that i can use?
