Garage gave me a loan car while my one was being repaired , 6 months later there recieved enforcement order for 481.00 with no previous correspondance, tried calling filled all forms out now ive got until 23rd to pay or its court. Will it be worth getting a lawyer on this. Thanks

You need to tell us a bit of the history behind this? Who do you owe the money to and why? Alleged dates it all happened? etc etc Be wary of saying who the driver was though. -
If you're sure it was that loan car then a response saying that this is the first you have heard of this matter and as such they have failed to comply with the requirements of schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 to be able to hold you, the hirer, responsible for the actions of the driver. You have no legal duty to identify the driver.

My car went into garage in february the garage owner gave me his fathers car on loan, who was to old to drive safely.
i was working in surrey so having to cross dartford crossing for over a month, i put the loan car on my account thinking all good. About 3 weeks ago garage contacted me saying they have a bill for 480.00 from enforcement officer.
i called dartcharge spoke to a robot he said as car not registered to me he cant talk to me, very angry at time !!
called again spoke to a slightly better robot who said the garage will have to fill forms in with details.
before this bill no previous correspondance was given at all.
garage sent forms off they kicked it out and said we have until 23 august to pay or its court then bailiffs.
