New here- parking fine

Hi all, we received a letter In the post today. To say we have 14 days.. but must be before 3/8/20. So we have 3 days to pay or appeal.
It’s the usual Highview Parking letter.
it was a Sunday a few weeks ago, all shops were closed. The driver didnt see a sign but its possible they missed it. Looked like Sunday- free parking.
not sure we have an appeal- is it worth trying or do I just pay and move on with my life?

So the first rule is not to identify the driver, use "the driver ....." etc

The keeper received the letter.

Post up the redacted letter, but leave dates.

It looks as though they may have shot themselves in the foot again by not delivering within 14 days.

Missing the sign is very relevant. No sign visible how do you know you have to pay?
