Car park fine 3.5 years old

hi, new to the forum but would like some advice please.

3 and a half years ago my mum was extremely ill in hospital. I was with her and had paid for a ticket in the hospital car park. Unfortunately it expired as my mum was taken critically ill and transferred to ITU, so I stayed with her. It was a life/death scenario.

I was issued with a ticket which I appealed and heard nothing else back from them. My mum was in hospital for over 6 month's.

I have now, 3 and a half years later, received a letter from bailiffs demanding payment or they will come round/take it further.

I would very much appreciate if you could you please offer some advice?

Post up that letter suitably redacted. Unless it has been to court bailiffs can do nothing.

if you still have it then post up the redatec copy of it.

Complain to PALS at the hospital about the issuance of the ticket in the circumstances
