  • Advice required on Order for statement of Means

    Hi
I have recently received in the post a Order for Production of Statement of Means.
Its dated 19 Nov 2019 and im just receiving this document 27 July 2020
I had a debt of a credit card and was unable to repay the balance in Jan 206 after losing my job in Nov 2015
Foolishly i ignored to the letters from Barclaycard, and this debt was sold onto HOIST FINANCE.
i managed to get some low paid work, but work was often far from my home address.
They managed to Get a CCJ via the central business court system and a judgement was awarded against me in aug 19

What i also have noticed is that i have on my credit file a CCJ for £3,874 and ALSO a HOIST credit card ( looks like my old barclaycard number ) that says it in default for UPDATED 12th Feb 2020 OPENED 16th Jun 2011 ???? and has a balance of £3,984

im not sure what my next step is, as hoist have bought the debt, but now are pursuing and now using the threat of the order for statement of means.
I cannot afford to pay back the debt, and need some advice on what my next steps are
