HP TERMINATION: Motorcycle

Hi I have just completed my first year of a three year HP on a motorcycle. My job has changed and I know when I have paid another six payments I will be able to terminate my agreement. I would like to know can I do this with a motorcycle as all internet searches refer to cars? Also once terminated is it the responsibility of the finance company to recover the vehicle including costs. Finally once I send my letter of termination via registered mail with confirmation of delivery can I cancel my direct debit£
