I have Power of Attorney Certified copies stamped up ready for signature (one set for my Dad and one set for my Mum).
My Dad has mental capacity but has lost the ability to make any written mark other than a squiggle, so cannot duplicate his own signature.
My mother can and will sign her own POA certified copies.
Can my Mum sign certified copies on behalf of my Dad?
If not, can my Dad give a mark that is not the same as his signature on the original document?
Or, must my Dad's be signed by a solicitor or other legally entitled person?
