  • Parking ticket - they won’t let me pay

    Advice please!

Parking ticket, absolute rubbish but nvm.
Issued to the correct address at the time but I’ve since moved and have updated both the parking company and the DVLA so all current correspondence from the parking company is going to my current address (which proves they do have it).

The problem is - on the website the billing address and the shipping address (which I presume they will send the receipt) is my old original address and cannot be edited.

I’ve told them I’m not paying until they update the address online, as you wouldn’t pay for anything online if the address was wrong.
They have said they can’t change it, and don’t know if the receipt would go to my old address.*

On top of that, if the payment declines eventually, it will go back to them as unpaid and may increase.*

Surely if they have my address and it’s their website that is wrong then they can’t just push me into paying it by saying “it probably won’t fail and a receipt might not go to you old address”.

If anyone knows or knows someone they could ask, you’d be putting a very chewer mind to rest as it’s already £170 *♀️
