  • Bond of caution

    Hi, I’m new to this forum, I’m doing my mother’s estate myself as very straightforward, I am trying to obtain a bond of caution however need the paperwork countersigned by a solicitor, is there anybody that would do this for a small fee.

    you must be living in Scotland
    I understand there are only two insurers who issue such policies, and then only through solicitors.
    It could be that solicitor's charges will be minimal anyway as they probably are paid commission by the insurers.
