Rejecting a used car

I’m in the process of trying to reject a used car it’s been on going 4 months.
question is can I sell the car Because longer it goes on it’s depriciating and loss all confidence in it Would this effect the process would my case still be valid

When purchased? When rejected?
What was reaction to your notice of rejection?

If you have rejected the car it is no longer yours to dispose off.
If you want to be rid you would need to follow the procedures required in "Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977"

Bought from dealer, it’s on a pcp it’s ongoing with blachorse I’ve wanted to reject within 6 months dealer asked me to give them chance to repair I did and issues still ongoing issue is dpf it’s had a new one and still does not regen, Range Rover stated in vehicle report that it’s not regened since new.
I want to get rid lost all confidence in it but like I said it’s still ongoing and longer it takes I feel get rid before price drops more.

You haven't given dates so can't tell if you are still within the short term right to reject.
So when was vehicle delivered?
when did you first report the problem?
when did the dealer try and repair it.?

If you are still within the short term right to reject you will recover all your costs.
If you are within the final right to reject you will recover your money less an amount for usage.

If you have rejected the car you should cease to use it.
The amount you recover will then not be affected by market depreciation

Have you actually made it clear to blackhorse that you are rejecting the vehicle?

Hi I had issues from month after ownership continued until dpf filter needed replacing that was on 6 month mark I made it clear I willing to let them repair but stated in email if reoccurs i will reject. It failed again in lockdown that’s when I phoned dealer and finance company to reject. It’s been 8 weeks now still no decision from finance and dealer won’t return my calls

Ok I bought In may 19 June went into limp mode cleared dpf Oct dpf needed replacing this is 6 months from purchase i asked to reject and dealer asked to try fix I allowed and then in March it failed again same issue leaving me no car due to lockdown.

Still no dates,, is that may 19th and june 19th or is the 19 for 2019?
The dates are important.
If the vehicle went into limp mode in the first 30 days because of the dpf and the effort to clear it was unsuccessful so it needed replacing and then replacing again you probably have a good argument for rejecting under the short term right which will enable you to reclaim in full.
Argument is vehicle unsatisfactory at time of delivery

Sorry yes June 19 it went into limp mode then again in Oct that’s when it needed replacing then March 20 again dpf issue the garage vehicle report stated when dpf replaces the vehicle has never regened from new it’s a 16 plate

So just one day outside the thirty days for short term rejection!

So you write (send letter first class with free certificate of posting from post office) to finance confirming that you have rejected the car under your final right to reject as per Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The vehicle fault which evidences it unsatisfactory and not fit for purpose was reported to the dealer on June 19 and they have had several attempts to repair it.
you require a refund of all monies paid plus £x for the extra costs you have had to meet due to the unsatisfactory condition of the vehicle.
You anticipate their written response within two weeks, and if it fails to materialise you will initiate a claim in the County court
