Cost of divorce for a UK citizen

My daughter is a US resident, however a UK citizen, her husband has said that if she files for divorce the fee for the citizen of another country would be twice higher than for the same but of the US one. I have found an article on this matter https://gaonlinedivorce.com/the-aver...rce-in-georgia however this question remains unclear, would appreciate any clarification! Maybe she could file a divorce here in UK remotely.

You can issue divorce proceedings in the UK only if the UK is your permanent home, or the permanent home of your spouse.
