Court case involving sorn

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out.a few years back my dad bought me a car to learn to drive, was manual and ended up doing auto so put it on sorn and on a private driveway. We went to sell it and insured it for a day however the sale was unsuccessful and my dad didn’t have knowledge of reinstating the sorn. Next thing we knew we had gotten a court letter regarding the insistent 6 months later. We hadn’t received the fine or penalty letters prior which we explained to court, them granting us a restart to the trial, I am prepared to plead guilty but was wondering if anyone knew the penalty regarding whether points will be added to my license?*
