  • Approved BMW previous owners discrepancy

I have bought an approved used BMW from the Sytner Group - it was advertised with only 1 previous owner and the salesman specifically mentioned 1 previous owner when I asked about the car and that particular question. Having just bought the car, which I really like, the new V5 has arrived and it states the car has 4 previous owners, making me the 5th. Does anyone have any advice on where I stand legally on options - am I entitled to return the car for a full refund (option 1) due to it being mis-advertised? Or am I entitled to ask for some compensation to reflect loss of value due to higher number of previous owners? Any assistance / advice welcomed.

How long have you had the car and what would you prefer to happen, refund or compensation?

Is the car on finance or purchased outright. Also do you have a copy of the advertisement still that you an back up to prove your case?

If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
