  • parking complain

I live in Barking and have a parking permit which i renewed on december 07/19 paid £45 and continued parking my car.
But during COVID-19 lockdown while staying at home i received 8 PCN tickets from Barking council, when i complained i was told my parking permit was cancelled in january because i did not respond to an email sent to me; which I've never received. But on their website it's say my permit will expiry on 06/12/2020 at 23.59. Can any of you been in this situation please advise me. Thank you

First, take a screen shot of the website confirming your permit doesn't expire till Dec 20.

Did you 'complain' by phone or did you make an infomal challenge in writing and they have rejected, again in writing?

If so post up their rejection.

Have you received any Notice to Owner 'syet?

I assume the vehicle was not moved whilst the 8 pcn's were issued?

If so, then you can appeal again to each NtO on the basis of 'continuous contravention' and , at worst, you are liable for only the frst pcn and the 7 subsequent pcn's should be cancelled.

Do they say why the permit was cancelled?
