Hi, I joined because I have received a letter from Bristow & Sutor regarding an alleged debt of £10.00 “Re: Auto Pay or Fleet Auto Pay due to Transport for London”. There are no other details on the letter regarding this £10.00, but when I went to the website to try and find out more, the case ID shown on the letter is not accepted as a valid number. I intended to make an SAR to them giving them just my name and address as per their letter but wondered whether this would be the right course of action or could I be recommended a better course by people more used to dealing with these matters than myself. I don’t ever remember having an account in my name but did have an account in two business names which I closed before I retired with no outstanding balances on either. One of the bussiness closed in 2015 when we started up as a limited company. I can’t think of any other information that might be relevant, but please ask if more is needed. Cheers, Guzziman.

It's possible your registration has been cloned. Although its odd that the case ID is not working. Definitely respond to the letter with an explanation and request for full details of when contravention occurred, to what vehicle etc. Also seems an oddly low amount for enforcement action...."Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Hi, I have received a reply to my SAR asking for lots of information to prove my identity, which they may need to pass on my request to the Council, where they are the Controller of the data. My request today, is do I have to pass on this information such as a photocopy of my passport or driving license plus an original council tax bill, utility bill or bank or building society bill? They would have been quite happy to have taken £10.00 on my money without this information in the first instance. Do I need to ask them about their procedures to protect my information if I am advised to provide it? Thanks, Guzziman.
