Banned from a shop for ko reason

So I have just been to my local spar and been refused entry for absolutely no reason that I know of. I will be going to see the manager in the morning but can anyone advise me on my situation. One of the ladies behind the till did not like me but I have learned to live with it over the years. However when o went to the shop tonight with my children. I was told I was not allowed in when I asked if it was a joke the young supervisor just said I am the superior can refuse to serve anyone I want..... end of conversation I did not argue as I had my children I just laughed and went yo another shop but surely the shop cant ban me without a banning order in place and for quite literally no reason. Any advice would be ideal besides staying calm because right now I am fuming humiliated and embarrassed but I do want to go in armed with legalities
