Issued a PCN which I have contested

I have now been served with a Debt Collection letter for a ticket that was given to me in a private car park. I paid to park but put the wrong registration number in. This was in November 2019 and they will listen to none of my pleas, nor those of my MP. The final cost they are demanding is £170 for a £2 parking fee that I paid, and could show them the ticket. Can anyone help please?
