Excess Mileage on a PCP

I have received email and call from DRS who is a debt company. Having spoken to SEAT (VW Finance) ref a payment holiday which I have been trying to get for over 2 months to no avail. During the conversation of my payment holiday they also informed me that my previous VW car which was voluntary terminated over 3 years ago (due to the emissions scandal affecting the value) incurred excess mileage and they have handed the debt to this company. My payment holiday still has not been resolved. I add, there has been no communication during in the 3 years from VW Finance ref the excess mileage.
