  • Bullying in higher education

    Dear Beagles,

I have joined your forum to seek help regarding a course of higher education, which I (and others) experienced the most horrendous bullying, to my detriment, and my eventual expulsion from the course.

The university in question still want me to pay for the course. I have exhausted their internal complaints procedure, which turned out to be a bit of a farce anyway. I understand I can complain to the Ombudsman, but my understanding of their test is more about if the university followed their own internal processes - which seems to be a more or less arbitrary assignment anyway.

So I am in a position where I have to challenge the requirement to pay for the course and I don't know how to do this, or what my position is.

I have a good bit of written evidence of the bullying, which I gained by the freedom of information act, which I might as well point out as pretty appalling.

If anyone can point me in the right direction regarding this, I would be very grateful.

    Thankyou in advance.

Oho. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation. Of course, I had difficulties during my studies, but they were much easier
