  • Can a creditor as a ccj to be cancelled

I had a ccj recorded against me last year , I submitted a claim
to have it set aside as it was issued during a time when I was very ill and unable to respond . A hearing was set which I didn’t attend due to be hospitalised . My question is , my creditor has said they are willing to ask for the judgement to be cancelled as long as I pay the balance . How do I go about this as I don’t want it marked as satisfied , I want to pay the balance and have it completely removed . Can the creditor just ask the court to cancel it ?
