, I've lost a popla appeal and feel that my appeal wasn't represented correctly, either I never communicated correctly or the reems of so called evidence from ncp won.. I parked in a car park that you enter vrn and then are supposed to enter the number of hours parked. I stupidly didn't read the signs(as I'm smart enough to know what to do apparently). Any way I enter the vrn and the machine shows on the screen 1 pound. I pay by card and thats that, until I receive a demand. I remember no prompt on the machine saying enter how many hours and I've checked since and this still is the case. I feel like I was tricked and now have to pay 160 pounds to a debt collection agency that ncp have passed this on to. I'm not sure why this was passed on first of all, but feel gutted that 160 is the fine for not paying 1 extra pound for parking, which I would have paid if the machine said that was the fee... is there anything I can do, or am I stuck with this teeth grinding fine? Any advice welcome.**
