  • County court claim for parking fines from 2018

Hi I was hoping to get some advice regarding a County court claim that i have received today which relates to parking charges from a private company which occurred in February 2018, March 2018 and December 2018. Since these claims were such a long time ago I have no recollection of parking in the said location. I'm not even sure if it was me that parked there as my car is used by several other people in my business. I might have received the notices, but its likely that I ignored them, as I tend not to respond to such letters. Any advice on how to respond would be helpful. I can post the claim up on here if it helps.*

So first is a SAR to the parking company to get all the documents related to you and your car.* Next a letter to the solicitor demanding copies of all the documents that they intend to use in court in order to narrow the issues between you, as expected by the courts.* You expect these by return and in any case* within 7 days.

Is the car a company car registered to the company or to you?

Thanks for your response Ostell. I'm not familiar with legal terms, what is an SAR and are there any template letters I can use. The car is registered to me personally. I let others drive it on their own insurance.*
