How do I get a fraudulent debt removed from my Equifax account?

Hello everyone, sorry for the negative post but I am fuming. in 2017 I found out a person created a false account using my name etc. I found out who it was, their legal team had their investigator visit their home and finally the person did not admit to it but paid it. (their actions proved guilty obviously) I asked if I could have* the bad debt showing on my equifax account removed and they agreed(little woods fraud department) I opened an email saying there are changes to my account, after viewing my equifax account I can not believe it is still on there? I am so angry and feel like I want to take little woods to court for this.
