My dad left my brother and I 50 50. My dad choose the executor. All in the will. Unfortunately, i don't get on with him AT ALL. On what grounds can he refused to follow my dad's wishes... Be honest. Can he use domestic violence and my health to stop me getting anything? Even though that why dad did it, to make sure I was always safe?*

Your father has died
He left a will
Your brother is executor
The estate is divided 50/50 between you.
was your father married when he died? Is his wife still alive?
The executor has to follow the testator's instructions unless the will is invalid.
Is your brother withholding your legacy and refusing to give it to you?
If so when did your father pass and when was probate granted?
