  • Carless driving

Hi, recently received a notification from court that a police officer has brought charges contrary to road traffic act section 3 schedule 2, that I undercut traffic on a roundabout causing another road user to brake. I totally disputed this as the reason I could not get in to the exit lane was because traffic was almost stationary and crawling along. I indicated and moved in to space when a gap allowed. I understand looking at the summons there is no video evidence, but as they are police do I stand a chance as my word against theirs?
