  • hidden camera in the kitchen

    Hi everyone

I would like to ask you something, if possible? I was thinking to put a hidden camera in the kitchen, as I live with 4 other flatmates and one of them constantly leaves the gas stove on (and I suspect she also opens my side of the cupboard sometimes to look inside), but every time I tell her she denies. I just want to have a proof so that I can show both her and the landlord.
Would that be legal? I think so, as it would be in a common area, but just want to double check before doing anything.

    Thanks

So you tell everyone that you are going to do it because ......... and you may find the problem stops without you even having to install.. could be fun watching people trying to spot the camera.

Hello OSTELL, I wrote the thread (before registering). I appreciate the suggestion (although in that case if she does that again then I am supposed to have proof, which I won't have... so she will call my bluff), but I just want to know if hiding a camera in the common area of a shared house/flat is legal.
      Thanks
