Average Timescales on claim and ATE insurance?

Hello,

If I enter in a no-win-no-fee what on average are the times scales of: getting ATE insurance and secondly the lawyer reaching out to the defendant with the initial claim? Does getting ATE insurance via your solicitor take a few weeks/months or is it generally quite quick?
