  • Issues with house mate

    Hello,

I am having some issues with my house mate around bills and rents etc. We were paying for service between us, some from my account and some from hi account. It has got to a stage where we are looking at the year ending amounts and there is a disagreement over the numbers. I have everything in spreadsheets of what was paid and what things cost. The main issue is around the council tax. Please could someone help with this? I feel I am right and he feels he is right and we are just going around in circles. I have all of our numbers to share if someone has time to look over them.

I just don't know what to do about it. It's causing a very anxious and stressful situation. I don't mind who is right, if I am wrong then I'm happy to admit that but I don't think I am.
I don't know what thread to put this in so some direction would be helpful too.
    Thank you
    U

What agreement do you have between yourselves, is it written down or verbal?
Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.
