Just had a parking fine for£150 ,saying they had sent me other letters,I hadn’t received them so contacted the Debt collectors who say the letters had gone to a previous address and that they had done a search as we hadn’t informed the Dvla our new address and we were libel for a £1000 fine .The dvla were informed in sep 2018 of my change but still gave out my old address so they haven’t updated my details.I payed the fine but would like to challenge the high amount I don’t challenge the parking fine and had I known I would have paid it promptly. So where do I stand on who to start with
