  • Claim form issued to me on OBS parking fine dated 22/03/2017 with no location

    Hi All

i am completely stuck on what to do
I have received a claim form from OB Services Parking Consultancy Ltd via solicitors DCB Legal on 31/03/2020
It claims i have an unpaid parking fine from them from 22/03/2017 but they have not provided a location this took place?
i emailed the sols to request more information which they have done in the form of a letter they supposedly sent to me on 19/02/2020 as a pre action protocol letter which also does not state the location of this parking offence

I am unsure of what to do do i just pay rather the risk a CCJ being placed against me as that would be my worst nightmare of do i have grounds for a defence to the court given its my first letter none of which state a location and it was also back in 22/03/2017?

i need some help asap please as i need to send this form back by the 19/04/2020 as part of the 14 days after 5 days of the letter dated 31/03/2020

Thank you so much anyone that can help

I presume you have received a claim form from Northampton, it isn't clear from your post.

Acknowledge the claim online using the details and password on the form, nothing in the defence.* This gives you 33 days from date of issue to get your defence to the court

SAR to OB requesting everything they hold about you and the VRM of your car.

Letter to solicitors demanding copies of all the documents that they intend to use in court in order to narrow the issues between you, as expected by the courts.* You expect these by return or at the very latest within 7 days.

You will only get a CCJ recorded against you IF you lose at* court and IF you fail to pay within 30 days
