  • Overcrowding and living in bad conditions

    Myself and family of 7 are living in a 2 bedroom flat. We are living in overcrowded conditions, both of the rooms are damp and mouldy, I have 5 children 2 girls aged 5 and 6 and then my eldest son is 12 and my twins boys are 18 months old

    The law* does not give anyone a right to the provision of a home from a particular social housing provider.* Have you informed your local council of your situation?* Are you on the housing list? you may be a priority.* However, you do not say if you are in social or private rented accomodation.* Without some background history in how you are in the accomodation you are, it is difficult to advise on your next steps.
