voluntary surrendering tenancy

when my daughter (19) moves out, how do i keep her from moving back in? i live in missouri and she has established tenancy in our home. drivers license address etc. we fear that she may try to force us to let her move back in. if she signs a letter agreeing to quit tenancy (not sure of proper wording) does it need to be notarized, or just signed by her?

Sorry - we only offer UK based legal help. Generally speaking such a document would be stronger if notarized.
