I bought a second hand van an next day it broke down, after 5 days of chasing the company i bought it off to come get it and fix it they finaly did, after not turning up on the 4th day again i said to just give me my money back. Its been several weeks now and even though i have a message saying they will refund me they havent. The last conversation i had with them he said i will get my money back when a judge says i can have it. I also know they have sold the van on again even though i have a recipe showing i bought it. Other than drag this through the courts what other options are avalible? is selling the vechical without my consent legal?. I might add since this happend and i have done some digging into the company and the people who run it it seems they do this alot. Also forgot to mention that when they sold the vechical they didnt tell me it was in an accident and was a accident repair wright off it was only when i got the v5 from dvla that i found out.
Wont give a refund on a vechical and has resold it

I think you will need to go to court. However, you will need to ensure that the proper procedure is gone through. There are guideshere on the site. What you haven't said is how much the van cost.
if they are members of a group of companies or part of a chain then it may be worth speaking to the main office.
If they have a social media presence then it may be possible to put pressure on them from that direction.
