I have an issue with Mortgage Express. Around 6/7 years ago I had 4 properties reposed in Manchester. Shortfall just under £500,000. I have 3 live mortgages with Mortgage Express. I am in a repayment plan, paying the minimal. MX went to Court in December and got a court order for the shortfall. MX says I have a portfolio and all mortgages, old and current are joined. They want all the profit from the 3 live (any time I sell) to offset the repossessions. Now they are threatening me with bankruptcy. Even if I sold the 3 live the debt would not be paid off. Not enough equity in the 3. Any advice anyone can give me would be most appreciated.
