Hi, I'm looking for some advice on an unusual (I think) problem.. A friend paid for my wren kitchen on a credit card back in January. Today they've contacted me and said that the full amount has been charged back and left me liable to pay. I would never have bought the kitchen if i was paying for it myself, i am not able to get in toich with the friend who paid it for me, and I'm not sure where I legally stand? It was my order but not my billing details and i dont remember signing a contract saying i was liable if payment failed? They have emailed me saying that I'm obliged to pay because of my agreement, but I'm not sure if this is legally binding? I'm not in a position to pay this at all.*
